Meme

Today, I savored every moment I spent with no one but myself. I already forgot how it feels like spending time and spoiling myself without limitations. How can I go wrong with doing things that make me smile with my own effort at that. Truly, God has given me such a beautiful life which should be taken care of. I still have the tendency to take "me"  for granted - hurting myself and letting others hurt me. But at the end of the day, I am still the one who will decide what to do and what not to do. This is me and I love being me.

Tonight

This madness is crushing me in
Tight grip, little remorse
Crying to breathe, seeking refuge
A faint cry, almost whisper-like in thin air

A slow melody, but cannot be heard
Inching one by one, in deaf ears
Reaching up, high above
Though impossible, though invisible

A blank canvass with no image nor drop of hue
An empty space, meaningless, without a soul
Perhaps the colors have drained out, washed away
Its soul rummaged in haunted thoughts

Awaiting a stroke, shade, sketch
Colors afraid to make a meaning
In every surpassing moment, it makes a loud tick
For it will just stay as a blank vast of space til eternity
